Melinda Helbock is an active participant in youth sports so she can show support for her sons. In 2009 she served as team mom for Encinitas Little League Rookies Sidewinders and in 2010 she served as team mom for ELL Minor B's Nationals and co-team mom for ELL Rookies Grasshoppers.
Melinda Helbock has also volunteered as a caregiver for an Alzheimer's patient and has volunteered at Encinitas County Day for more than 5 years. Her and her husband are active advocates for animal safety and have adopted two dogs from Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
